Benefits of ThermoView TV40 Infrared Sensor

The ThermoView TV40 thermal imager can be used across a wide variety of applications. The non-contact temperature measurement nature of fixed thermal imagers means they are ideal for monitoring assets or processes that are either too dangerous or difficult for conventional methods. That could be anything from monitoring the refractory of critical vessels in metals processing, ensuring automotive components are welded correctly, or that your medical devices are properly sealed in their packaging.

The TV40’s capability of accurately measuring temperature for each individual pixel, at up to 60 frames per second, means you could be capturing over 18 million temperature values each second.

Now, while that may be overkill for 99.9% of applications, the ThermoView software solution offers users comprehensive control to determine how much temperature data is captured and what those measurements drive on the automation side. Whether it’s a relatively simple mapping of the hottest temperature value in view to an analog output, or running pass / fail process control based on complex geometric and temperature logic, the TV40 from Fluke Process Instruments has you (and your process) covered.
